I got a Breville juicer for Mother's Day and I would love to hear of some of your favorite juices that you have made with your juicers. I only have apples, pears, and carrots to work with right now.

I'm looking at juicers for a birthday present, and wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I've done a little research, and Breville seems to be a popular brand. I was thinking of going with the BJE 200 XL, seems like it's what I'm looking for and is reasonably priced. Any suggestions, or recomendations?

I am going on a juice fast, and need to find a high-quality juicer. Something that will leave me with fresh, delicious juice. I am wondering if a juicer can affect how much nutrients are lost? If so, please recommend me a juicer that will have as little nutrients lost as possible. Three juicers that are recommended online are the: Jack LaLanne Juicer,Champion Juicer, and Breville Juicer- all in their latest models. Have you heard of any of them? Are they any good? Out of the three, which is the best? Again, cost is not a concern. Which juicer do you recommend overall (does not have to be out of those three)? Oh, and any juice fasting tips would be great. Thanks!
Thanks!
Please report Bacon.

I want to make lemon juice using the entire lemon. The machine is a Breville Optiva. There is a picture of it here:
http://www.breville.com.au/products_detail.asp?prod=19
Will it do the job? Should I cut the lemon up first?
Thank you so much for you help!
I cannot remove the skin as I need to consume it for health reasons. I aim to just swallow it like medicine so the bitterness doesn't really matter. But do you think the blender will be able to handle the thick skin? Thanks for all you help so far!
it worked well. There were bits of unblended zest mixed in the juice which are very ewwie and unpleasant but I am happy that it works, I'l have to mix it with other foods. Any ideas?

I own a juicer, not like the little hand thing, but one of those big electric Breville ones. I can put basically all fruit and vegetables in it. I'm trying to come up with some good juices to try though. Any good combination ideas?

Considering buying a juicer to improve diet. I've heard from a few people that the juicers don't produce very much and that I will have to buy a lot of fruits/veggies just to get 1 drink.
Of course, my first thought is they probably had a cheaper juicer (under 0), but of course, they don't remember which kind (which should be a sign right?). So, I'm wondering from those who have experimented with the different type of juicers out there, is this statement true with some of the more expensive juicers, like the ones from vitamix or breville? Or do they all pretty much yield about the same amount of juice, regardless of price/quality?
I'd love to hear real experiences like "Yeah I had a cheap juicer and it took 4 oranges to make 1 drink but then I bought the *0 juicer* and now it only takes 2 oranges" or something to that effect.
Thanks!

How long does it take to clean the Jack Lalanne Power Juicer? I have heard complaints that it takes a long time. Does it take any longer than any other typical juicer? Do you like yours? I hear good and bad things about them and don't know what to believe. I was also considering a Breville Juice Fountain Compact.

I was considering either a Jack Lalanne or Breville juicer, either the Jack Lalanne Power Juicer Classic or a Breville Juice Fountain Compact. I keep reading that the Lalanne is difficult to clean and the Breville is easy, but they seem to have the same basic parts. Both have the top part with the chute, both have a pulp collector, both have a blade and filter. So, what exactly makes the Lalanne so much more diffuclt to clean? Is it difficult to remove the blade with the crescent tool?

Is there is comparison in quality between the juicers Breville JE95XL (9) and 800JEXL (9) ?
Why should anyone buy the expensive v/s the cheaper models ?
Please answer if you have good or bad experiences on both. I don't think anyone would have experienced both the juicers to comments accurately on this topic. The manufacturer's website does not have a comparison sheet on the juicers.
